Pebble Creek

Client Problem:
This house was built in the 1990s and had basic white thermal foil cabinetry that did not extend up to encompass the entire height of the ceiling. This leaves room to grow and improve. Unfortunately, thermal foil cabinetry deteriorates over time and the doors start to unwrap, chip, and ultimately turn yellow, sacrificing the integrity of the kitchen. The yellowing of the cabinet doors and the peeling of the plastic thermal foil overlay was negatively taking away from the rest of their beautiful home.
Our Solution:
We provided a solution that upgraded this cabinet combination from the 1990s into today’s modern style. This kitchen upgrade focused on craftsmanship and detail without breaking the bank.
We installed a white hard maple shaker style door to the existing cabinet boxes. This style is clean, popular, and updates any room. Its color and simplicity already matched the existing cabinetry boxes and framing and faux panels above the current cabinetry were added to give the illusion of full-height cabinetry. Then a new subway tile backsplash was installed for another modern kitchen update. Although these upgrades may seem minimal, they created an updated look that made it feel like there had been complete kitchen renovation. Our solution ensured there was minimal disturbance for a fraction of the cost of a normal kitchen upgrade.
